Class Experience
In the class, we will mostly speak in Chinese, with minimal support in English. The students are learning to count, add and subtract using hand-on tools for counting, writing numbers, and online games to reinforce learning. Students will need counters, building blocks or interlocking bricks, popsicles, playdough manipulatives to help them learn. These are an essential tool for the little ones to learn their counting, adding, and subtracting, math is more fun for kids and helps them remember concepts learned when they can physically touch and use tools to help them.
Here is a link for parents to purchase the Math book for the students who will use it during the class.
